Association for Children with Disability (ACD) Tasmania
A non profit organisation that provides information, advocacy and support for Tasmanian families of children with disability.

Autism Spectrum Diagnostic Assessment Service (TASDAS)
Provides comprehensive assessments for children and youth suspected of having an autism spectrum disorder.

Autism Tasmania
The peak body and representative voice for the autism community in Tasmania.

Commissioner for Children
An independent office responsible to the Parliament of Tasmania, the Commissioner's functions include promoting the rights and well-being of children.

Department of Health & Human Services (DHHS)
responsible for delivering integrated services that maintain and improve the health and wellbeing of individual Tasmanians and the Tasmanian community as a whole.

DHHS - Disability Services Tasmania
Disability Services aims to deliver a range of services from accommodation to information for the health and well being of people with disabilities in Tasmania.

DHHS - Reform Unit

ECIS (Early Childhood Intervention Services)
provide family centred early childhood intervention services to children and families maximising educational and learning experiences within local communities. For children aged from 0-4 years with a diagnosed disability and/or difficulties.

National Disability Services Tasmania
The national industry association for disability services, representing over 600 not-for-profit organisations. Collectively, our members operate several thousand services for Australians with all types of disability. NDS’s members range in size from small support groups to large multi-service organisations, and are located in every State and Territory across Australia.

Para Quad Association
founded in February 1990 to assist and encourage paraplegics and quadriplegics in their endeavours to once more become an integral part of their community.

St Giles
founded in 1937 to provide aftercare support for children affected by polio today St Giles provides quality services for up to 2500 Tasmanian children and adults with disabilities - to enhance their independence and community participation.

TADTAS
An association of volunteers providing technical customized mobility aids for Tasmanians with disabilities since 1990.

Life's for living
is a unique and innovative support service, established in 1987. We operate in Adelaide, South Australia and assist people with a diverse range of disabilities (including sensory impairments) and people with complex needs who require varying levels of support to live a life that is similar to their peers.

Kimochis
Kimochi, which means ‘feeling’ in Japanese, are plush, loveable toys, designed to help children get in touch with and manage their feelings in a fun, comfortable way. Kimochis® characters have their own unique personalities, and a whole lot of feelings, just like children in any group gathering. Kimochis® help children identify and express emotions, one feeling at a time, while parents are better able to understand what their kids are trying to communicate.  Being able to talk about feelings helps build confidence, self-esteem and character. National Disability Insurance Scheme
Australia's approach to disability services is crisis-driven and welfare-based. A National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) would change this. The Scheme would provide funding for essential care, support, therapy, aids, equipment, home modifications and access to the community, education and training. National Disability Coordinator Officer Program
The NDCO program works toward the Australia-wide coordination and delivery of transition services for people with a disability who are at, or who will be attending, university, vocational education and training or another training organisation.

Relationships Australia is a leading provider of relationship support services.  We aim to support all Australians to achieve positive and respectful relationships.

Siblings Australia
An unique national organisation committed to providing support for brothers and sisters of people with special needs; including disability, chronic illness and mental health issues. We provide workshops, print and web-based resources and networking opportunities for families and providers across Australia and overseas.

Starlight Childrens Foundation – Livewire
