The Shugg Family Memorial Award
The Shugg Family Memorial Award recognises the achievements of a young person with disability - aged 15-30 years - who has displayed strong initiative, improved their quality of life or positively influenced others through their attitudes and achievements.
The Shugg Family Memorial Award is named in honour of the Shugg family who have maintained a proud and active involvement with Tascare from its earliest days.
Dr. AW Shugg was a founding member of the society in 1935. His son, Mr. KW Shugg was also a life member of the society until his passing in 2008. Dr. Bert Shugg also maintains a keen interest in Tascare and forms part of the committee who decides the Shugg Family Memorial Award.
The Shugg Family Memorial Award is valued at $1500, which may be used by the recipient to purchase goods or services.

The Beryl Haynes Memorial Award
The Beryl Haynes Memorial Award recognises the importance of professional development in the area of disability support.
The Beryle Haynes Memorial Award honours the contributions of Miss Beryl Haynes, a physiotherapist and former Director of the society. The award seeks to recognise Miss Haynes' outstanding personal and professional achievements.
The Beryl Haynes Memorial Award is valued at $2000 which may be used to support a nominated professional development proposal.
